Due to unusual circumstances I was only expecting my quilt to be a 'jumble' of memories. The reason you must be asking yourself - I had saved my son's T-shirts from infant to going off to college, had planned to do something with them for years. Several months ago I had arranged for a sweet little old lady to applique the cut out T-shirts onto a blanket. To say the very least the project went AWRY! Then I found out about Campus Quilts, explained my dilemma to Cherish, the first person I spoke with, and that there were FORTY THREE pieces of T-shirts in every size imaginable - not a problem I was told. And into my life came Sally, The Head Sewer at CQ! She assured me all would be fine, she had seen this before, not to worry. I gave CQ creative freedom, due to the sheer number of pieces - each block has from 3 to 4 pieces - and the result? A work of art, creative, not a jumbled mess at all! And BTW - this quilt required extra labor of course, but the labor charge is reasonable and the time it took the experts to 'fix' the 43 pieces was astoundingly short!!! I cannot wait to give the quilt to my son! Thanks to everyone at CQ! Dianne in SC
