A double-sided t-shirt quilt consists of three layers: the top (your t’s), the batting (providing warmth and weight), and the backing (your t’s). These layers are then stitched together over the entire surface with an artistic quilting pattern.
Here are additional options you can select when completing the guide:
- Select sashing ($3 per square) and sashing color
- Embroider a personal message ($15 per line)
- Include digitally printed personal photo square ($15 per square)
Don’t forget, whatever size you select, DOUBLE THE ITEMS you send in (9 square double-sided = 18 squares).
Items that are not a standard t-shirt square will need to be placed on one side of the quilt together so that the quilter is able to maneuver around the special items. Squares that would need to be placed on one side of the quilt together are as follows: baby clothes squares, button-downs, polo shirts with buttons, items with rhinestones or beads, thick items, and photo squares ($15/photo square).
